The Story So Far
Back in 2018 I was introduced to Cornerhouse Production who have help me bring my music to life. Late 2018 I released my debut 6 tack EP Arise and Shine.
I'm an Independant Christian contemporary song writer, my story starts from when I began learning to play the organ from the age of 10 after my parents asked me if I'd like to learn a musical instrument. I suppose my influence in choosing the organ comes from hearing it being played on Sunday's at church and my Dad having a few vinyl's of different organists.
During this time I became heavily into the band Queen, also enjoyed Synth pop mainly Erasure and Manchester Indie music, bands such as James, Happy Monday, Inspiral Carpets.
When I was 19 I ask God if I could have the gift of song writing, from then on I began writing songs. I was also in a worship band for a couple of years with friends.
I sent off a few demo CDs but didn't get far, a few more years went by and I stepped away from the song writing. Jumping ahead to 2010 a gap of about ten or eleven years and I felt as if God was pushing this song writing back towards me.
This time I decided I'm going to keep at it until God say we're done.
Here I am now with a 6 track EP, songs available on all streaming platforms, lyric videos on my Youtube channel and my Martin S Bailey music Facebook page.
